Makeup of the day

 

 I know the title says makeup of the day but I really mean makeup from the other day. I thought I would try a little colour and opted for green! The eye shadows I used for this look are all from the Makeup Revolution 100 palette which has every colour imaginable(including neon orange!). Such an
amazing palette if you're on a budget.

I love a good winged liner I think it emphasizes my eye shape more than a simple liner. I used the collection black liquid liner. I normally use gel liner or a pen but I thought I would challenge myself and use the good old liquid type.

Annnnnd lastly on my lips is Rimmel lip liner in Tiramisu and Loreal lipstick in J'Lo's Nude.

Cut crease

Hey! Today i have a makeup look to share that is slightly less natural than my recent ones, the cut crease! I see perfect cut crease makeup looks all over Instagram and i hadn't a clue were to begin, it looked so difficult. And it was! It came out less than perfect but for my first attempt i think i did okay.

For the cut crease i used an angled brush and a black eyeshadow to define my crease, i then took the eyeshadow a little further up and used a small domed shadow brush to blend the colour upwards. I then used a concealer on the lid and to neaten up the line i had made. Next i applied Macs Vanilla pigment to the lid and on the brow bone to highlight. Lastly i applied liquid liner to the top lash line, pencil to the lower and obviously lots of mascara!

Winged liner with a pop of green

I love using a pop of colour under the eye, i think it can give a basic makeup look an edge. Here's a look i did using green under the eye with a clean winged liner. I'd love some requests on what makeup looks people would like to see in upcoming posts :)
